Analysis of Musculoskeletal Disorders Complaints among Ikat Weaving Craftsmen in Langa Bajawa, Ngada, East Nusa Tenggara in 2022

Background: Ikat weavers work manually and non-stop for a long duration of time, which increases the risk occupational diseases such as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). weaving craftsmen perform time generates This study aimed to determine analysis complaints (MSDs) among ikat in Langa Bajawa. Subjects Method: A cross-sectional were conducted from August September 2022 Bajawa region, Ngada, East Nusa Tenggara. total 38 subjects included this study. The dependent variable was independent variables age, working period, work, body posture, workload, repetitive activity, stretching, back rest. data collected with questionnaires, Nordic Body Map Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) ques-tionnaires, obser¬vations. analyzed using Chi-square. Results: Age >35 years (OR= 1.07; 95% CI= 1.07 17.79; p= 0.034), period >10 3.85; 0.98 15.12; 0.049), posture RULA score >4 5.66; 1.36 23.46; 0.013), hours >8 hours/day 10.5; 2.16 51.42; 0.002), activity 11.55; 2.41 55.39; 0.001), rarely stretching 0.04; 0.00 0.27; p< not having backrest 0.09; 0.02 0.44; 0.001) had significant effect on disorder craftsmen.
